What does Fronde mean?

Originally a French word meaning sling the word fronde has evolved to signify the spirit that inspires people to challenge orthodox thinking and provoke change. Appropriately, it also suggests New Zealand’s iconic fern and is pronounced the same way - Frond(e).

These attributes support Fronde's vision and mission, to transform our clients' business for a better future and enable them to excel by challenging, leading and supporting them, with grounded innovation and creative pragmatism.

Our purpose of sustainable prosperity for all our stakeholders is shaped by our company values of team-players, outcomes-focused, passionate, courageous and innovative and at the heart of this are Fronde's people – talented, enthusiastic, high performers – not only technically strong, but great at working with our clients and partners.
