One of New Zealand’s leading insurance companies was looking for a way to reduce the risk and manual paper steps involved in growing its customer base. By its nature insurance and underwriting is a very complex set of processes and the existing process had many manual steps involving a wide range of people from across the business who interacted with a range of disparate legacy systems.
This existing Salesforce customer had already had success in building systems in the past with Salesforce and elected to solve this new business problem again with the Salesforce platform. Working in conjunction with internal the IT staff, Fronde developed a highly customised and comprehensive application on the Salesforce platform to deliver the required business benefits and present all of the information through one unified system.
The result being a custom interfaced insurance application that heavily utilises the power of the Salesforce platform including heavy use of Workflow, Security and Reporting and Integration tools to bring information from many legacy existing systems together in a unified way.
